Official Contest Rules and Regulations

ELIGIBILITY:

This contest is conducted by Azteca International Corporation (Azteca America) and is open to all residents over eighteen (18) years of age of the continental United States with the exception of Arizona, Colorado, Tennessee, Florida, New York and Vermont of the United State of North America who are not employees (or persons with whom employees are domiciled) of the Contest Sponsors, their parent and affiliate companies, their respective agents, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies for this contest and the contest judges. THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
The Azteca America Triviamania Futbolera begins at 12:01 a.m. EST on Saturday 16th August, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, 31th August, 2008 (the “Contest Period”). A contest with prizes that are awarded to the winners will be conducted during each week of the Contest Period.  To opt-in to play in a particular the Contest, you must send a text message containing the message [“GOL”] using your SMS enabled mobile device to the short code number 55225, or you can also enter via the web page www.aztecamerica.com,  after the applicable Weekly Starting Time and before the Weekly Closing Time.  From a mobile phone, after you send the initial text message to participate, you will receive a text message with a multiple choice trivia question.  Trivia questions during each Weekly Contest will pertain to the Mexican Soccer League, specific teams/players/matches and/or general statistics that relate to the Mexican Soccer League and/or the sport of soccer.  Every time you respond to a question, another text message with a new question will be sent to your mobile device, with each question becoming progressively more difficult than the previous one.  Participants will receive a maximum of [ten - 10] questions during each Trivia game.  The cost for answering each trivia question by text message is 50 cents ($0.50) per message received in United State, plus applicable regular carrier pay-per-use charges which may apply for each text message sent (in accordance with the terms of a participant's use agreement with his/her carrier). Each answer that is successfully received during the applicable Weekly Contest period is worth one entry. From the internet, participants can also enter the contest at not cost by just filling in the required information. Participants can have a maximum of 20 entries.  The winner of the weekly contest will be randomly selected among all the entries.
Participants who opt-in to play in the Contest will not be automatically entered to play in the following Contest.

There will be one prize of US$1,000 cash. The Contest winner will be determined randomly at the Weekly Closing Time for that particular week.  The decision will be final and binding on all matters relating to this contest, including determination of the weekly winners conditioned to the selected winners’ fully compliance with the contest’s terms and conditions.  Odds of winning depend on number of participants playing in the Weekly Contest.  All prizes will be awarded.  Prizes will be delivered to winners via mail.  Limit of one prize per person for each Contest. For those entering the contents via text message, they will be entitled to receive a free Wallpaper of one of our sexy models. Subject to availability, mobile phone and carrier compatibility. Not all mobile phones and cellular operators are compatible.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS:
Eligible winners will be notified by telephone at the phone number associated with the phone number used to opt-in to the Weekly Contest.  In the event that a winner does not respond to such notification within 24 hours, a disqualification will result and an alternate winner will be determined from the remaining participants.


RELEASE OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE:
Following notification, and before being declared a winner, each selected participant will be sent via U.S. Mail and required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability form, confirming acceptance and compliance with the contest rules, acceptance of the prize as offered and a release acknowledging the non-responsibility of Azteca America, Up-Mobile, the mobile service carriers and their parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates and their respective officers, directors and agents in respect of injuries, accidents, loss or misfortune related to the conduct of the contest, awarding of the prize and use and enjoyment of the awarded prize and any travel related thereto, and consenting to the use of the participant’s name, address, image, photograph, likeness and statements in any medium without right of review or additional compensation or consideration unless prohibited by law. Said form must be properly completed, signed and returned within [seven (7)] days of receipt, or the prize will be forfeited and the participant disqualified as a winner. If any release form or prize is returned as undeliverable, or a winner cannot be contacted as outlined above, the prize will be forfeited and the participant will be disqualified as a winner, and an alternate winner will be determined from the remaining participants.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. By entering this contest, you acknowledge having read these rules and agree to be bound by them, and by the decisions of Azteca America, which are final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Contest.

2. All the entries received become the property of the Contest Sponsors and in no case shall be returned to sender. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

3. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the wireless device will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual contracting with his/her carrier for wireless communications services and assigned the wireless device phone number is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the wireless device and phone number associated with the selected entry at the time of entry.

4.         Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and must be accepted by the winner as awarded. No substitution will be made on any prize except at the discretion of the Contest Sponsors who may substitute a prize or prize component of greater or comparable value.

5.         By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their names, addresses, statements and photographs or other likenesses, without any further consideration, in any medium and in any publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsors or any of their related entities unless prohibited by law.

6.         The contest is subject to applicable federal, state, municipal and other applicable laws, rules or regulations. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if for any reason the contest cannot be conducted as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of tampering, fraud, technical failures or any reason beyond its reasonable control, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest at any time for any reason, including selecting a potential winner from previously received valid entries.

7.         The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for late, misdirected, lost, damaged, garbled, delayed, illegible entries, inaccurate information, human or technical errors, or for any failure of computer software, hardware or telecommunications systems affecting participation in this contest or the conduct and administration of this contest. The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offering or administration of this contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the rules, the selection and announcement of winners, or the distribution of any prize.
8.         The terms of this Contest, as set forth in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set forth herein.
